Initially I wanted to tell you about something exceptional from the last two weeks: about the fact that I cooked almost every evening. I have to postpone that though because something even more exceptional happened:
Wednesday morning at about a quarter to 10 I discovered it: the wonderful rainbow – across from my bedroom window. I took a few pictures. It was so clear and colorful. Through the window on the other side of the house I could see the drizzle. After I accomplished a few chores in the house, the rainbow was still as vibrant. I put on my jacket, grabbed the leash and went for a walk with the dreamteam, in the direction of the rainbow which now stood in the sky for more than half an hour.
During the whole walk I couldn‘t take my eyes off it, I had to take pictures and videos of the play of colors. As many rainbows I have seen and adored in my life – those were only moments, maybe a few minutes. But on my way home it still beamed full of bright colors from the sky. It touched my heart so deeply, it had me in tears. After 11 o‘clock I was back home and the rainbow still stood unchanged over the house across the street. I couldn‘t tear away from it and had to check over and over again. By noon the spectacle was over. I felt such warmth in my heart. It simply was so exceptional.
It was as if the rainbow wanted to make sure that everybody had seen it.
I felt like I received an immense gift and blessing with this experience.
To me, the picture of the „never-ending“ rainbow which didn‘t want to leave represents the never-ending love of God for us people. God wants that everybody sees Him and gets to know Him. That‘s why He never hides from us but lets His love shine visibly for everyone who opens their eyes. And like each one who carefully pays attention to the rainbow and sees its colors, everybody who opens the eyes of their heart can discover God‘s love in all its colorful nuances.
Think about it! It really is worth it!
