[Advertising] You’ll read this more often here now because I will talk about the progress of my Scentsy business more often. It belongs to my life now – of course also on Thursdays 😉
Whaaat? Summerbreak is over already? That was quick!
No, I was not on vacation – rather the opposite. August was quite packed with activities.
First of all I had to work of course. Then I went to the gym at least once a week. Online Zumba with my Texan friend had to be cancelled for me because of other activities.
The Wednesday online meeting of my church and the service on our website was in my hands for two weeks and my church organized a worship afternoon where I was able to sing. That was my highlight for August because I finally could sing live again and didn’t have to use playbacks and my cell phone 😉. We were outside yet under a roof – with the great opportunity to be together on a certain level keeping all the Corona rules. It was great!
Of course I also worked on my “Snuffle-Snuggery”. I already rearranged my showroom in the garage and you can keep a close eye and nose on many products from the Scentsy product range. Yes, I did invest quite a bit – not only time – so you can check out everything. Most Saturday afternoons the roller shutter is up and I welcome visitors. 2 days ago the autumn collection launched, with great new warmers and other products. I have to admit, I love the scents by Scentsy – and so does my family. Hubby comes home from work and right away notices if I have changed the scents in the rooms. He’s got his favorites and he insists on a scent warmer in the evening in the dog-fart-paradise = living room 😊. The dreamteam already knows the driver who delivers the packages. He’s greeted friendly and then it will get a little poky in the box, when those dogs’ noses discerningly examine all goods. Quincy’s sleeping spot is more or less right beneath a warmer and he also has his favorite scents. If he likes the smell, he sleeps in his bed, if not, he wanders off to another spot.
The greatest fact about the scents is – contrary to e.g. deodorants, perfumes and other scented things which trigger migraines – I do not have to watch the product I sniff on. I can sniff through all 80+ samples without getting a headache. My very own experience which convinced me. It doesn’t even matter if I like a certain fragrance or not, because there are variations I personally really dislike. But that’s not a bad thing. If everybody loved roses, who’d buy violets then 😊?
Enough praising for today! The dreamteam needs attention now, a walk, maybe a li’l breakfast mouse. With a few impressions from August I say See ya and stay healthy! Until next Thursday!
